ie6 issue

Postby cole on Fri Nov 02, 2007 11:47 am

morning all
run into an issue where wymeditor is working fine in ff but not in ie6.
no expert on javascript so was wondering if anyone had experienced anything similar before spending too much time going blind through the source code.

the symptom?
instead of the wymeditor container/content editor am getting the following:
{Wym_Tools}{Wym_Containers}
{Wym_Html}{Wym_Iframe}{Wym_Status}
also an ie 6 error message (those not so helpful warning sign at the left of the status bar) as follows:
error: 'name' is null or not an object
any suggestions?

cheers,
cole

I am going to check on that and that to see why you're having these problems. My works perfect on IE6 and the issues is only on IE7...

I'll start checking on that today evening... cya

Hi there,

Don't know if you managed to resolve this issue but I've just got the same one and it was because of a , on the last line of options :

Code: Select all
        containersItems: [
        {'name': 'P', 'title': 'Paragraph', 'css': 'wym_tools_containers_p'},
        {'name': 'H2', 'title': 'Heading_2', 'css': 'wym_containers_h2'},
        {'name': 'H3', 'title': 'Heading_3', 'css': 'wym_containers_h3'},
        {'name': 'H4', 'title': 'Heading_4', 'css': 'wym_containers_h4'},
        {'name': 'BLOCKQUOTE', 'title': 'Blockquote', 'css': 'wym_containers_pre'},
    ]

I I delete the last , (the line of blockquote) everything works.
