Writing without a <p>

Postby dor on Sun Oct 19, 2008 10:02 am

When I'm writing text in the editor, it automatically creates a <p> tag around the text.

Is it possible to write something without the <p> tag created around the text?

In addition, I've noticed that there is no <code> tag to specify a code.
Can you add one by default?

Thanks in advance!

Visualizing the document structure is the whole idea behind WYSIWYM, that is why you see all these small p's and h1's. However, these can be hidden using CSS, but that would go against the whole idea of WYM. If you want a WYSIWYM editor then I'd recommend you to take a look at editors such as TinyMCE or FCKeditor.

And regarding that custom button, take a look at the 14nth example page for some example code.
