How does the editor use in ISO-8859-1?

Postby Zaphod_Beeblebrox on Tue Oct 28, 2008 1:37 am

I am using WYMEDITOR for a web in Spanish. It is the editor which is in use for modifying and inserting information in MySQL. But I am having problems with the Spanish characters. Is it possible to configure WYMEDITOR to work with ISO-8859-1?

The information that gets in the Database alters and not why. To which it owes? Is it possible to solve it?

Thank you everybody. Bye from Spain!

Hello!

The editor uses utf-8 by default, you could possibly change that by altering the charset used in the file called iframe.html.
If that don't work for you, try to convert the text/html that you want to edit to ISO-8859-1 on the server side.

Cheers!
