Allowed tags

Hi,

Is there a way of allowing/disallowing certain elements. For example I'd like to show code in a blog post but if I wrap <html> (html tag incase this strips it too) in a <pre> (pre) tag, then the editor strips it all out as disallowed code.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Hi Phil and welcome to the WYMeditor forum!

I can't reproduce this issue you're having. if you're editing the source directly then replace the < and > characters with &lt; and &gt; respectively. If you don't do this the code will be interpreted as real html and not plain text and get striped out as invalid html. If you're editing the code in "designmode", then these characters gets replaced automatically.

Cheers ;)
