WYMEditor and symfony

Postby Mondane on Thu Apr 02, 2009 11:45 am

Can the WYMEditor be integrated in a symfony project? I read that symfony uses the prototype framework.

Hello Mondane, and welcome to the WYMeditor forum!

There's already a Symphony extension for WYMeditor, the provided version of WYMeditor is a bit outdated though.

I guess he's actually meaning the symfony framework (http://www.symfony-project.org) and not the CMS.

Anyway, it's quite trivial to make WYMEDITOR work with the framework. The javascript framework used by symfony can be easily replaced, and there's complete support for using jquery instead of prototype.

I'm using it without any problems.
