How to create a email link??

There is the ability to allow users to create a web link:
{'name': 'CreateLink', 'title': 'Link', 'css': 'wym_tools_link'}

Was wondering if there is already a pre defined tool for adding an email link (e.g. adding mailto:) without the user having to?

Or if someone has managed to add the code in themselevs, and if so where to find an example?
