iframe issues in IE8

Hi,

I'm having issues with the editor in IE8 and IE8 emulating IE7, the pic below shows the problem



In Internet Explorer, when you go to click onto the text, the cursor selects the iframe for dragging rather than inserting the text cursor to start typing. In every other browser I've tried, it works fine.

Is there a way around this?

Funny, I hadn't noticed this before but you are right. It works fine in other browsers.

The only way I can see around it is to click twice. The first click selects the container and the second places the cursor.

Not ideal but it works. Might be worth raising it as an issue.

Updating WYMeditor to the latest trunk fixes this, alternately you can add

Code: Select all

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />

to the wymiframe.html file.
