Generate HTML

Just wondering if it's possible to use WYMeditor to generate strict HTML not XHTML. With the general trend of abandoning XHTML 2 for HTML 5 that seems like it would be important.

There seems to be a huge misconception on what the end of xhtml2 actually means.

Xhtml will not stop being used. Whoever does strict (good?) code will keep using it.
