Integration with Jörn's Validate jQuery Plugin

Hi guys,

Firstly, amazing piece of work, very intuitive to use and well documented. I have one query though, I wish to use the WYMeditor alongside Jörn's Validate Plugin (which I'm sure you've heard of):

I've integrated both the WYMeditor and the Validate plugin and they work harmoniously side-by-side, however when I create a rule for Validate Plugin stating that the WYMeditor field is required, this seems to get missed by the Validation even though the WYMeditor is empty. I have double-checked content by clicking on the HTML button to delete and sneaky <br />'s that may be there.

Would you be able to advise me further..?

Hi there, Anarchy kitten!
When the form is submitted WYMeditor updates the original textarea, replacing any previous contents. I'm guessing that the validation is done before the update, meaning that the textarea won't be empty if you have any previous content. This will happen if you initialize the editor after the validation.

If that's not the case, this will need some further investigation...
