Tables

Postby jonny_noog on Thu Oct 05, 2006 1:08 am

Hello WYMeditor people,

W00t! I think this must be the first time ever that I have found a forum on the Internet so new that I got to post the very first topic in this section!

I have today been looking at your WYMeditor and I really like it so far.

One question though: If one inserts a HTML table using WYMeditor, is there a way to then delete that table without going into the source code if one does not use IE? I have noticed that I do not seem to be able to delete a table once it has been inserted, when using Firefox (unless I go into the source and delete, which is fine for me but would not be so good for someone who is not comfortable with HTML).

Good luck with your forum. :D

Welcome Jonny,

It's possible for Firefox users to delete a table - but maybe it's not straightforward.
If you click on the table, you'll see little buttons appearing (this is a Gecko feature).
You just have to click on the circles to delete rows and columns, and finally the table itself.

Hope this helps,

Ah, thanks jfh, that works like a charm. You're right though, it's not quite as straight forward, but that's really not an issue with your editor if it's a Gecko feature, I guess.
