Has Text Changed Function?

What is the best way to tell if a user has edited something in wymeditor?

If they change something and click off the editor, I want to display a message box saying something like 'you are about to lose your changes. do you want to save your work?'

And the user can save their work if they wish.

Any chance there's something built in?

I can compare the original text to what's currently in the editor if push comes to shove.

There's no such functionallity built in to WYMeditor. I think just storing the original content in memory on page load, and then compare it to the editor content when the user "clicks off the editor" is the easiest solution.
