how about an <acronym> button ?

On the demo page, there are examples of text between <acronym> tags but no button on the editor. Maybe the button is missing on purpose because of the ambiguity between <acronym> and <abbr> ? Please enlight me

They're missing because they aren't currently supported by the editor.
But we're on the way to support them, see http://trac.wymeditor.org/trac/ticket/18
We need a more robust selection/event handling architecture for WYMeditor to really behave WYSIWYM, and we're currently working on this (see branch 0.5).
