table attributes being stripped out from HTML

Postby pixelwiz on Fri Mar 07, 2008 2:42 pm

Ok, this is an odd one.

I am trying to insert some HTML using the HTML view of the WYMedotor.

I paste in some code where one of the lines is:

<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="5" class="basic">

BUT after the form is submitted, the code comes out with the same line looking like:
<table class="basic" cellpadding="5">

Now can someone explain to me why are these tags in different order, and more importantly, where is the cellspacing attribute?

Thanks,
-Roman

Thanks for the fix

Thank you for the fix. Sorry for the dup post, wasn't sure about the right place to put it.

Just curious, how would you do the cellspacing=0 in XHTML that would be valid? I do that a lot to create a 1 pixel wide border in css by doing a border right and bottom on cells. Would I need to give each cell a margin of 0?

Thanks again,
