Uncaught exception in FF

Postby cdanea on Tue Mar 27, 2007 1:26 pm

so, as the title states there is a major error in FF:
Code: Select all
Error: uncaught exception: Permission denied to get property HTMLDocument.body

I took a glance at the wym.js file, and it was ... interesting. The javascript coding style is ... original.

I'd take a swing at forcing the code to be a little more .. compliant, but I'm guessing the next release will do a better job entirely, thus it'd be a waste of time.

But still, i'd like this fixed if possible... because this _unhandled_ exception occurs early in the init phase, thus the JS interpreter is halted, which means all buttons and links are BS...

Also, a little problem with the V0.3 versioun:

just cpress enter many times quickly... a lot of events don't get registerted, try an event listener plugged into a consumer queue object or something :D

Hmm... I guess it's a cross-domain security issue. Could you give me more info about the way you use WYMeditor?

I agree. WYMeditor is quite different from the other web-based editors. :)

OK. Any help is welcome, BTW.

We're currently working on other things. We'll soon work on events handling.
Thanks,
